MA/Diploma/Certificate
St. Philip’s Centre provides the opportunity to study for an educational award at one of 3 levels through De Montfort University. These are: Certificate, Diploma, and M.A. The Certificate course lasts 1 year and the Diploma & MA courses are part-time for 2 years.

The courses contain the following:
Certificate: Total 48 hours contact time over 6 Saturdays and 2 introductory evenings.
2 modules:: ‘The Multi Faith City’ and ‘Religion, Conflict and Cohesion’
Diploma : Total 96 hours module contact time over 12 Saturdays
4 modules: the two Certificate modules above, plus
‘The Theory and Practice of Interreligious Dialogue’
A Placement Module in a setting of dialogue (33 hours)
MA: Total 96 hours module contact time over 12 Saturdays
4 modules: As above.
Plus Dissertation 15,000 words
All teaching takes place at St. Philip’s Centre.
Courses involve lectures, seminars, group discussion, and learning from students’ experience, visiting different communities of faith.
Tuition fees for the 2009/10 academic session are:
£1,164 – Certificate
£2,328 - Dipoma
£3,488 – MA
Limited bursary assistance is available through consultation.
St. Philip’s Centre is a partner institution with De Montfort University. Full validation of the programme of study has been granted.
