The Ven. Richard Atkinson Archdeacon of Leicester

Richard has been Archdeacon of Leicester since 2002 and Chair of Trustees since the foundation of the Centre. He is a member of the Presence and Engagement Task Group, the Hindu-Christian Forum and recently completed an MA with distinction in Interreligious Relations.  His dissertation was written on ‘Religious Literacy in the Public Sphere’. He is a member of General Synod, the Carnegie UK Trust Commission on ‘The Future of Civil Society in Britain and Ireland’, and recently stood down as a Church Commissioner.

Revd Gareth Jones is a Methodist minister with 16 years’ experience in university chaplaincy. He now works full-time as Inter-Faith Development Officer for West Midlands Faiths Forum. Gareth also sits on the national Methodist/United Reformed Church Inter-Faith Relations Reference Group.
